Early voting is intended to reflect individual scheduling needs, not political targeting. Statistically, this means early vote results should mirror general voter distribution. But in Korea’s 2025 election, early voting disproportionately favored one candidate—raising doubts about the randomness of the process.

According to Lee Young-don TV’s analysis, early votes showed a consistent partisan bias that defied statistical norms. Despite Central Election Commission data suggesting most voters opted for early voting due to personal convenience—not ideological influence—the outcome contradicted this.

Experts argue that such uniformity is highly unlikely in an uncontrolled, voluntary process. Instead, the data implies manipulation, where early vote results were either influenced or engineered to reflect a desired political outcome.

This violation of the principle of randomness undermines the credibility of the election process itself.
